Created in 2012 with the purpose of strengthening the bonds of friendship and fraternity in the peoples, AFRICA SINGS, this pan-African festival of choral & traditional music has taken place in various countries all over the world, and the 9th edition is taking place in Nairoby at Kenya.
Remarkably, Among other things, AFRICA SINGS FESTIVAL has helped to strengthen the social and cultural identities of the communities and created strong bonds within them.

Choral Music encourages such timeless values that include humility, discipline, hardwork, diligence, endurance, self control, contentment, selfless service, decency, and excellence among Choristers and it demonstrates the possibility of brotherly/sisterly love in the world of today. In Africa, Choral music is believed to embody African values that foster collaboration and unity We must, therefore, leverage on choral music as an effective means of bringing our young people together in solidarity to build our continent. As we endure the rigors of travel across cultural and geo-political boundaries to gather, to pull down the walls of division, to promote mutual understanding, mutual respect, learning from one another, establishing strong networks with a common vision of unity, and becoming peace Builders.
The expectation is that all participants in this festival will become Champions of Peace and Unity in the African continent with the culture of Choral Music.
